Dorrigo Anzac war memorial vandalised by drunken people and motorists

"The stone soldier has been through the wars of multiple vandalism attacks and a car crash."

"The rifle was damaged when a 28-year-old man climbed the war memorial, breaking off the rifle barrel, which a 24-year-old woman then put in her underwear, making lewd movements during a drinking session at the nearby hotel. Both fined by the court, the man was also ordered to pay $25,000 towards repairs."

I'd like to nominate for the #Darwin award the 200 or so #motorists who tonight drove past (nearly over) a #motorcyclist who was lying on the ground after a serious #roadaccident on #TulseHill #London. Clearly no fucks given about human life, they just beeped and drove round over the pavement, with debris everywhere, cos the guy dared delay their journey. I had heard the horrible noise of crushed metal but thought no one had been injured from the way #cars were driving thereafter. I was wrong.

The koala procreation season and car crashes

Speeding combustion engines are one of the major threats to unarmoured koalas. No road is ever wide enough for vehicles in the Bellingen/Gleniffer area. Road signage is regularly knocked down and speeding is the 24/7 norm.
