Wow - apparently *none* of the #Gardaí are #pursuit trained to same standards as officers in GB / NI (or other European countries).
How even can a country operate like that?
Folk will be constantly at the mercy of reckless drivers or outright criminals / sociopaths. I have also seen quite a few Irish tooters over the years pointing this out
Sorting this out won't be an easy task - #roads in GB were quite lawless until things got cleaned up starting around late 1990s,. #CarCulture is strong, stubborn and resilient, and older #motorists still resent limitations of their "freedom" and many vote for parties such as Reform / Restore out of spite..

Street signs around here are just there to be knocked over by motorists.
No road is ever wide enough.
No car parking is ever large enough.
Roundabouts are there to crack the edges or better drive straight over them if there isn't too much vegetation.

Koala dies after allegedly being dragged behind vehicle down a street
