Just noticed in passing by a local "discount" #GasStation that they were selling #diesel fuel for $7.79 per gallon!!!! 😯

I own a Ford F250 diesel truck in which I installed a 60 gallon fuel tank, which would cost just about $500 to fill up from full empty now.

Fortunately, I seldom drive this truck & the tank is still nearly full & it's going to stay that way for awhile. 😎

But the larger issue is the effect this dramatic increase in diesel prices will have on the cost of food & goods transported by diesel powered trucks, which affects pretty much everything.

If this increase is just a short term blip, the effect should be minimal but if this increase is sustained & rises even higher,orices are going to rise higher & so will interest rates charged by the Fed In an effort to suspress inflation.
