A Russian frigate fired two flares toward a Danish Air Force Fennec helicopter during a routine photo mission in international waters off Gedser, Denmark's military reported. One of the flares passed close to the helicopter. The Danish Armed Forces said flares are pyrotechnics normally used as attention signals at sea and provided no further comment on the incident. #Russia

Russian sources have published an obituary for Maj. Gen. Anton Grunis, commander of Russia's 4th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade. Grunis directly commanded Russian troops fighting against Ukraine, including on the Bakhmut and Kostiantynivka axes. He took command of the brigade after his predecessor, Vyacheslav Makarov, was killed. Grunis' reported death has not been officially confirmed. #Ukraine

Web games have come so far and hardware only gets better year on year. Imo, it's the best time to launch a web based game. I'm not saying optimisation is no longer a problem but you can definitely get a demo out there without caring too much about performance and I say that gets dreamers an opportunity to share theirs with us in the form of a game

Dan was de aandacht ook meer uitgegaan naar preventie. In plaats van late lange schoolsluitingen had dan gestuurd kunnen worden op de veiligheid van scholen waardoor scholen (na de eerste golf) misschien wel helemaal open hadden kunnen blijven. In plaats daarvan werd een narratief gecreeerd dat besmettingen buiten de scholen plaats zouden vinden (op de fiets). Zodat er *in* de scholen niets hoefde te gebeuren.

❗️Ukraine's 3rd Army Corps officially announced Operation Vivaldi in northern Donetsk region. It says Ukrainian forces eliminated Russian infiltration across 75 km2 and liberated another 10 km2, including Serednie, while clearing Novoselivka, Oleksandrivka, Yarova and areas near Korovyi Yar. The corps claims Russia's 20th and 25th armies lost around 1,500 troops, more than 12,000 drones and hundreds of vehicles, armored vehicles and artillery systems. #Ukraine

This sunflower had it rough. We had to help it with a rope or it would've fallen. It still bears plenty of seeds.
Anything green is turning yellow, though, and the ants haven taken the plant over to farm aphids. They don't touch the seeds, so we'll see where this goes.
