I never went the Blackberry route. I still had a Motorola Razr when the first iPhone came out and I bought it because it was so different.
My current iPhone 17 Pro has a much better camera, but otherwise does nothing remarkably different than the first one. It’s more powerful but not really more useful. I use it for texting, email, browsing, and taking pictures/video. I check the weather and news. All the same shit.
It’s a pocket camera that can text and tell time.

I’m so annoyed at Apple for this. Sure, not many people are on older OSs, but some people are. Surely it should be the developer’s decision what to support. They’re just increasing e-waste with forced obsolescence, all in the name of profit over people and the planet. Screw you Apple!
