Something that surprised me when I looked at the data properly:
Only 17–38% of pages cited in AI search results also rank in Google's top 10.
The two ranking systems are nearly independent of each other. Good Google rank does not predict AI citation. Different signals, different selection logic.
Most SEO tools measure one of these. Almost none measure both.

Last week we've published another implementation of our concept for running a map-based web application with reduced demand for resources.
The map is based on OSM and a small custom REST service is processing user feedback. But everything else is solely based on files served by a rather simple web server. This includes a mock of a database API built with our ConcreteDB.

Flipping the site into Arabic took one flag in the page builder and almost no CSS. I'd written nearly every margin and border as inline-start or inline-end from the first day. So dir=rtl on the html element mirrors the whole page by itself, nav and phone mock included. One margin-left survives in the phone layout. It's a zero, so it gets away with it.

In the Lindsay Clancy trial, the qualified police officer responsible for her iPhone data extraction via Cellebrite explained browser cookies in part by saying that they can be used to increase load time. He also used the Wayback Machine rather than that and MediaWiki's revision history to get snapshots of Wikipedia pages as they looked at specific moments in time. Lacking in competence, in my opinion.

The goal of my everyday life when I was analog-coding was to remove more lines than add. Mostly I was successful and almost always this was net-beneficial.
