  2. Chat like you're playing 1.6 over 20 years ago again! 😆

The chat-strike applet for my system features some cool retro stuff such as voice commands, radio commands and team selection.

Of course, there are many other nostalgic applets available, too! 💚

  3. New blog post:

The process of migrating from Sass to native CSS

Why you might want to drop your Sass and how to avoid the obvious gotchas.

  4. 🦖 HTMLInputElement: colorSpace property
    🟧 Limited availability

    developer.mozilla.org/en-US/do

The colorSpace property of the HTMLInputElement interface reflects the <input> element's colorspace attribute, which indicates whether the color space of the serialized CSS color is sRGB (the default) or display-p3. It is only relevant to color controls.

  5. "Datatype is a variable font that turns text into charts."

    github.com/franktisellano/data

"Datatype uses OpenType ligature substitution to transform simple text expressions like {b:30,70,50,90} into visual charts—no JavaScript required." #DataViz #WebDev #fonts

  6. I spend more time “optimizing shit” than I should probably ever admit. But when you take a process that took nearly 20 seconds to complete. Down to a second it feels so damn good ….

  7. 🔗 Little Websites Everywhere. via @michelle #development #webdev #ai #tech

I am building a website, for work. It feels like a radical act these days. I am not using an LLM, I am coding with my own hands, wading through documentation, tinkering, reverse engineering, console logging my way to understanding. Learning new skills, refusing to hand them off to an unthinking machine.

  8. Bad news is that I may be late to this kind of #blog post: blog.viewfromtheweb.com/how-i-

Good news is that anything about building with #aiagents is always outdated, so might as well post something that I can keep updating.

  9. There is no longer any wait for processing, but the user can just type in the required text, and it will appear in the 3D view instantaneously. You can change the material parameters, including for each separate layer in a multi layered font, like the cake fonts in the image.

The use case for this is both for of text and for generating fancy graphics.

I wonder, is there any web site that provides similar functionality?

  10. 🦖 flood-color CSS property
✅ Widely available (from Jul 2015)

    developer.mozilla.org/en-US/do

The flood-color CSS property defines the color of the current filter primitive subregion in <feFlood> and <feDropShadow> elements within a <filter>. If present, it overrides the element's flood-color attribute.

  12. @individual8 I’m also ditching NextJS, but my usecase is a bit different than yours. I need the most performant framework for highly interactive multi page sites.

That narrows the selection to Astro or Markojs. All other mainstream frameworks are SPAs.
