KDAB designer Nuno Pinheiro shares his experiments with theming in QML. It's a working prototype with real transparency, a texture lit by a light that follows the cursor, and buttons that deform when you press them. It started as Inkscape mockups and was built with Shape and MultiEffect.
He also asks how much room frameworks should leave for ideas that don't fit today's conventions.
