I had toyed around a little with WLMaker and WindowMaker lately, and while I have set it aside for now, I have been thinking...

Are there any other Desktop Environments out there that are "unique" in some way, or could even be described as "novelty DEs", that y'all could recommend?

Ideally ones with HiDPI support, as 2440x1920 on 13 inches tends to make stuff look really small without a bit of scaling.

Are there any trustworthy alternative browser extensions (particularily for Firefox) that support #Vaultwarden for autofill of credentials?

While I don't expect any immediate enshittification of the official Bitwarden extension... in light of the recent shenanigans over at BW, and as a Vaultwarden user, I would rather be prepared than caught offguard, SHOULD they ever do anything that causes issues with Vaultwarden.

I have a work situation. A coworker is doing ghost employment. Management protects her, and I'm afraid of the repercussions if I go to HR. Meanwhile, those of us who work and are there every day are tired of doing her work and fixing her negligence.

Does anyone have experience with this? Any idea about the best way to hold her accountable or better yet, move her out? Your ideas are most welcome. Please.

Does anyone have any idea why there would be a pretty substantial line of people sitting outside of my local #BestBuy in Southern Indiana? They had lawn chairs and everything. This was at 7am. It was really weird.

Probs a weird question, but, if you're on Neocities and your page has a header and sidebars that should show up on every page, how do you do that with just HTML, CSS and JS? Do you fetch the reused parts with JS and attach them to the DOM (this is what I currently do, but I really don't like it)? Do you hardcode the wrapping on every page? Have these limits affected how you designed your page? Does you page work without JS?

Just on the off chance, I am looking for some help from the fediverse in re-obtaining the following music album:

Fast & Louche, Top Shelf Jazz, 2009. Originally discovered via @pluralistic from his post (https://boingboing.net/2009/07/15/top-shelf-jazzs-fast.html). At some point in time the iTunes monster ate my copy and by the time I realised it was gone, the album was no longer available.

Additionally, The band appears to have long since disbanded and I can't find a way to contact them to re-acquire a copy.

I loved this album, so any help finding it again or putting me in contact with someone who can help would be hugely appreciated.
