If I look at it through Mastodon, from this account, I think I see all of the replies. Among others, there's one from someone asking for details about zips and buttons, and someone asking where I got the sewing pattern. I replied to both of them using my Mastodon account. I then replied to one of my own replies with photos and more information.

If I look at the post from Pixelfed, though, I only see two replies. My first replies to them are visible, but not the follow-up reply with more pictures.

If I look at the original post of the person asking for the pattern (https://sh.itjust.works/comment/26164267) I notice that my reply to them isn't even shown. Looking at the post from Mbin, which I use, I also don't see all of the replies: https://thebrainbin.org/m/sewing@lemmy.world/p/780358

This is a problem, I'd say. It makes the Fediverse seem emptier than it is, let alone the fact that my reply doesn't seem to be visible even to the person I'm directly replying to. What's going on and what can be done to fix this?

Hello everyone! Bird found in distress. Help needed.
So this Eurasian Jay was found on a tree today, being there and screaming for many hours already, as told by people living here.

The bird was clearly in distress not moving, but turning their head often. After that the bird carefully got off the tree and dropped to ground. Waited for a while silent, still as in pain, now started yelling again.

My guess would be that it is some injury considering all said and the fact there is a house with huge glass windows right here. Gusty winds are present. The weather is not particularly hot today, 25C (77F), but was much hotter on Monday.

What is the right thing to do in this situation? Any advise and boosts would be greatly appreciated.

I have been so uneasy using Atlassian's Trello for quite a while now, and it's frustrating to be unable to find a good alternative that doesn't require self-hosting, that is as customisable and sleek, offers link previews, and is available for both Android and Linux (which Atlassian never bothered to develop a desktop application for anyway afaik). I received a phone call from a law office yesterday. Apparently when my mother passed away she left me property that she owned with my dad. The law office contacted me to ask me to take my name off the deed. I've been #nocontact with my parents for over 5 years now. I honestly don't remember if I've been told about this property at all.

Would it be worth fighting them on this? Is it worth going to court to get my dad's name off the deed? It would be amazing to get some extra cash from the sale of this property. The property in question has been for sale since December, but my parents didn't contact me until now and even that contact was through a secretary...

My PopSocket broke.

I’ve relied on a PopSocket to hold my phone without getting pinky pain. I’ve used one for nigh upon a decade. I genuinely don’t remember how to hold my phone without it.

Can you send pictures of how you hold a phone? Or paint a word picture?

The real question at the heart of this is: I want to use MagSafe features, but I don’t know how to do that and have a PopSocket-style grip that I don’t have to constantly remove for charging or mounting on my dashboard.

The replacement gear came in & It works like a charm!

Unfortunately, while it goes through the motions, nothing actually prints on the paper. Previously the head had a lot of dried ink on it. I suspect there's dried ink inside somewhere.

Is there a good way to go about cleaning the printhead? Could I soak it in hot water or some cleaning solution?
