Zurzeit sieht es so aus, dass auf meinem neuen Server alles "rund läuft" und deshalb plane™ ich den automatischen Umzug auf meine neue Instanz für morgen, den kommenden Freitag, ein.
Viele Nutzer werden es überhaupt nicht mitbekommen, aber es gibt wohl noch ältere Fediverse-Systeme, die dies leider nicht handhaben können.
Ich würde mich freuen, wenn diese mir dann manuell auf der neuen Instanz ( https://mstdn.mv2k.net/@memo ) folgen würden. 😀

It's come to a point I question why I'm in a body when I wake up, like "why am I seeing my legs, chest stomach, arms and hands right now?"

When none of your childhood christmases turned out great, you tend to end up treating every 25th day of every month as Christmas Day as an adult, so it's 2 days before Christmas once again everyone !
Yeah I know Santa ain't real, but come on. That's boring. Let a 24 year old big brown bear get what he'll never have now that he's an adult !

Hey, today I learned that the official Mastodon docker compose file has *three* containers that need their versions updated when you do an update, and that a version mismatch will silently prevent other instances from seeing posts!

Die ARD/ZDF Medienstudie kommt für Frühjahr 2026 zu dem Ergebnis, die Nutzung (also inklusive passiver Konsum) von X und Bluesky geht im Gegensatz zu Mastodon in Deutschland weiter zurück. Das passt auch zu den von uns erhobenen Daten zu aktiven Nutzung, die einen starken Abwärtstrend bei X gezeigt haben und einen konstanten Rückgang bei Bluesky seit Trumps Amtseinführung.
