  1. Fishing Boats, Calm Sea, Claude Monet

I have avoided posting Monet and Van Gogh because it's like listening to The Beatles or Bob Marley or something. Everyone likes this because it's good and what else is there that's good?

This is one I didn't recognize immediately as Monet, he was very productive, why don't you take a day off, Claude? 😆

I've seen some pieces that I thought weren't as strong as others but it seems like he really "gets it", most of his art has a quality that feels right, that seems like he captured something worth capturing, and that he captured the right parts about it.

If I had time to get good at painting (maybe someday), I don't think I would paint in this genre but I enjoy it. I think I have things to express, he doesn't seem to be trying to express anything other than maybe appreciation for the everyday beauty of the world? Good job Monet. Break time, sheesh. Save some paint for the rest of us.😁

  2. Ministry Investigates Seasonal Gratitude Syndrome

  3. I searched everywhere for the outdoor weather station sensor and just couldn’t find it. A friend suggested I think of it as an adventure, but I was mostly frustrated.

In the end, it became another reminder of all the little things I can no longer ask Dad. Finding the sensor brought some relief, but it also made me realize how much I still miss being able to turn to him for answers.
