ARCHIVE: Israeli forces killed 31 journalists in airstrikes on newspaper offices in Yemen. The attack happened on September 10 2025 in Sanaa. They hit offices of 26 September newspaper and Yemen newspaper. One child died too, and 22 journalists got hurt. This is second deadliest single attack on press ever recorded by Committee to Protect Journalists. First was Maguindanao massacre in 2009. Israeli forces said they targeted a Houthi Public Relations Department that distributed psychological terror. But Committee to Protect Journalists said these killings are murders. They said Israel smears journalists as terrorists without evidence to justify killing them. Since 2016, Israel murdered more than 16 percent of all journalists killed globally. Numbers are 193 in Gaza, 6 in Lebanon, 3 in Iran and 31 in Yemen. And investigation by +972 magazine found Israeli forces run a Legitimization Cell. This cell frames Gaza journalists as Hamas operatives to justify killing them. So this shows Israel has a pattern of targeting journalists across Middle East.

“Liminar é a primeira decisão judicial conhecida no mundo concedida a uma coalizão de associações de veículos de comunicação contra as novas regras da Meta. Decisão prevê multa diária de R$ 1 milhão.
A Justiça de São Paulo concedeu nesta terça-feira (3) uma liminar à Associação Nacional de Jornais (ANJ), à Associação Brasileira de Emissoras de Rádio e Televisão (ABERT) e à Associação Nacional de Editores de Revistas (ANER) em ação contra a Meta. A decisão suspende novas regras comerciais da empresa e proíbe a coleta e o uso não autorizados de conteúdos dos veículos associados, inclusive para desenvolver e treinar sistemas de inteligência artificial.

O juiz Guilherme Madeira Dezem, da 44ª Vara Cível de São Paulo, suspendeu parte dos Termos Comerciais da Meta, previstos para entrar em vigor em 20 de novembro. As novas condições permitiriam à empresa usar programas automatizados para acessar, copiar, armazenar e analisar reportagens, fotografias, vídeos e outros conteúdos publicados nos sites dos veículos de comunicação.

As regras também vinculavam a continuidade do uso das plataformas à aceitação dessas condições. A autorização abrangeria materiais publicados fora do Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp e Threads, inclusive obras protegidas por direitos autorais.”
