  2. After committing a genocide in Gaza, and war crimes in Lebanon, Yemen, Iran, and Syria, is Netanyahu’s government collapsing ahead of elections?

Benjamin Netanyahu’s ruling coalition submitted a proposal to dissolve the Knesset and hold early elections, signaling deepening political turmoil inside "Israel" as pressure mounts over the ongoing wars in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran.

The move comes amid growing anger from ultra-Orthodox parties who are saying that Netanyahu is failing to secure permanent military service exemptions for religious students, threatening the collapse of his coalition government.

If approved, the legislation would trigger elections within 90 days, potentially bringing Israeli settlers to the polls by August as Netanyahu faces mounting criticism over the failure to achieve what he called “total victory” against Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran after more than two years of regional war.

Opposition leaders Yair Lapid and Naftali Bennett announced a joint electoral alliance aimed at challenging Netanyahu, while polls suggest the Israeli political scene remains deeply fragmented with no clear governing majority.

  8. Horseshoe theory is bullshit. Liberalism is a disease. Liberal is, in fact, an insult used by fascists and leftists alike, for different reasons. Liberals and fascists are both morally corrupt and spiritually bankrupt. But these are just descriptors.

Fascists insult liberals for weakness, diversity, proceduralism, or insufficient ethnonational purity.

Leftists insult liberals for collaboration with domination while pretending neutrality.

Same word, different indictment. The key distinction is function.

A liberal government may speak of human rights while backing massacres. A fascist movement may discard the human-rights language and embrace domination more openly.

Different rhetoric, sometimes overlapping material outcomes.

I won't speak about theory in a vacuum, but let's talk about historical and material conditions and the imperial boomerang across settler-colonial states, imperial powers, and postcolonial formations shaped by empire. Let's start there.
