Sep 5, 1922: On this date, Andrée Dumon was born. Known by her nom de guerre, Nadine, she was a member of the Belgian Resistance. Her involvement began when she volunteered to distribute the underground newspaper La Libre Belgique. She subsequently became a courier working alongside her father who was a member of the underground Luc-Marc Intelligence Service. Eventually, she worked the Comet escape line, assisting downed Allied airmen to safety. (1/3)
