I stood there, stunned overwhelmed by sorrow and gripped by shock.
What could I possibly say?!
How has war become such an ingrained part of Mira’s memory? Our lost home, the displacement, the bombardment, the fear.
Just imagine how the imaginatio of Gaza’s children has been distorted! War has not only stripped them of everything leaving nothing but destruction in its wake but it has also carved deep scars into their young minds and hearts.
I took these photos to share with you, and to say that Mira and the children of Gaza deserve to paint a picture of life, not war.💔
