We Gazans have endured every tragedy imaginable throughout history: injustice and misery beyond human endurance. We sleep on the precipice of death every night, as some fall from it, while others await their turn. Death in the city has taken on countless forms and comes in many different ways. If you survive a bombing that kills someone next to you, you won't survive a car bombing. If you survive a car bombing, you won't survive a bombing of a tent next to yours. If you survive a tent bombing, you won't survive a hospital bombing. If you survive a hospital bombing, you won't survive a bullet fired in a family dispute. And if you survive a bullet, you won't survive the collapse of a previously bombed building, a building that has become too small for you to live in, only to collapse on you, your children, and your family, leaving you to die without even knowing how it happened!

We are truly living in hell. 🥹🇵🇸
