In het interieur van de Andreaskerk in Westeremden zijn vooral de fraaie muur- en gewelfschilderingen uit de 13e en 15e eeuw het meest opvallend. Deze middeleeuwse kunstwerken sieren de gewelven en muren en bevatten onder andere afbeeldingen van:

De kerk maakt ondanks vele veranderingen nog steeds een middeleeuwse indruk. Het interieur wordt gekenmerkt door het prachtig gemetselde en nog zeer gave Romaanse gewelf. Verder is er een koorhek dat het schip scheidt van het koor.
De kerk is sinds 1973 in beheer bij de Stichting Oude Groninger Kerken en is vrij te bezichtigen. De naastgelegen weem (pastorie) is herbouwd door de kunstschilder Henk Helmantel, die ook een bekend schilderij heeft gemaakt van het interieur van de kerk voor de restauratie.
