Earlier this year I had collections in my care that were from the #Aberfan disaster. It was profoundly emotional.

Some were from inside the school house, others donated by the rescuers and parents.

I didn't actually work on most of them (a fellow freelancer did), but I did make a supportive shape and an accompanying costume cover for a coat worn by a rescuer. It still has the dust on it. Long may it remain.

Aberfan was 60 years ago today.
