For the official consecration of my Mother Lodge, we had the pleasure of 170 Masons sitting down to eat with us. A celebratory meal, or Festive Board, is common practice following many Masonic meetings, especially when a Candidate is initiated or raised to Master Mason.
On 8 August 1925, the Festive Board for the Masonic Memorial Fund Drive at the Olympia in London, England, was attended by 7000 guests.
