Around the US West there are seemingly random pockets of sand dunes. This set is close to the Nevada/California border and are a favorite for the ATV crowd. Calle the Big Dunes, they are maybe 300' all and on BLM land.

I popped up the site Flight Radar 24 this afternoon, looking to see if there were any interesting airplanes nearby, and happened to click on this little Cessna over Newport, Oregon, a town to the south of me. I quickly realized it wasn't the usual tourist plane, revealed by it's razor sharp north and south flights, connected with very precise turns. I'm sure the tinfoil hat brigade was going crazy if they noticed it.
