An der Stelle muss man die Engländer doch mal loben. Seit dem Start der Aktion für sauberere Kanäle vor 4 Jahren hat sich einiges getan. In ~40 km haben wir nur so 8 Flaschen und Büchsen vorbeischwimmen sehen.

It started as a silly idea, but I keep leaning closer to the vacation idea of renting a narrowboat in England for a couple of weeks. Tooling along at a snail's pace while we take turns walking the towpath. Like taking a long trekking vacation without having to carry everything on your back, or worry about making the next camp or hotel by sundown.

It's just the seed of an idea right now.
