On warm, windy and sunny evening watching the #swallows (or are they #housemartins or #swifts ?) weave, duck and dive, before soaring up and disappearing sideways out of view is just pure delight!
I am tempted to turn on one of the irrigation sprinklers on the vegetable patch as I assume it makes insects on the plants fly up into the air and seems to increase the chance that the swallows will stay above our plot for just a little longer.

As soon as I started snapping I saw some objects flying through the frame - by pure luck it was some high flying #swifts, their crescent shapes a dark mirror of the moon’s.
