  9. We don't know how long we could live in the future, but we do see that (in the West) gains in life expectancy are decelerating, with most of the gains in the periphery.
    At first, I didn't get why the data analysis for a paper in 2026 stopped at 2019. The reason is, obviously, COVID. That was (and to some extent is) a pre-trend on the long-term trend, and the authors straight up say they aren't sure how it affects things going forwards.
