First year chem is taking a day to work on unit vocab and read an article on why we cry when onions are cut. The idea is to pull scientific information from text to answer questions. It's a good lead-in to chemical reactions.
Web dev is finishing their HTML project before we start CSS this week.
AP Chem is predicting reaction products and writing net ionic equations. We'll do a solubility matrix this week.

I have spent most of the last 4 decades in classrooms as a teacher of adults but I've never been comfortable with the title of teacher because it puts too much focus on the person imparting the knowledge and less on the person receiving it.
For this reason, I don't use that job title anymore, preferring to define myself as 'someone who helps people learn'. But I am open to adopting an even better way of explaining what I do.
