New old lens day! I treated myself to a cheap (mechanical, no AF or CPU data) Nikon FTZ adapter so I could use a couple of old lenses I had lying around on a mirrorless camera.
The lenses are a Nikkor 50mm f1.8D and a Nikkor 300mm ED-IF AI-s f4.5. I pointed them at a cat for a test run, as you do. The first couple are wide open (1.8 and 4.5 respectively), the second pair stopped down to something a bit more reasonable (f5.6 and f8).
They go alright for 20+ and 40+ year old lenses!. I'm looking forward to getting out with them.
