[Columbia House club edition]Last spin of the night before I head to bed to dream of the morning, when all of my newly acquired Otter Pops will be frozen.
A masterpiece of the pop genre, regardless of decade.
It’s my Madonna cutoff point, as I have no interest in any of the music she made after this.
It’s introspective and personal in a million different ways, & musically it still fucking SLAPS (did I use it right, kids?).
Like A Prayer, Express Yourself, Cherish, Keep It Together… all classics.
This is the last masterful stroke of mainstream #80s pop; before stuff got REALLY shitty, & until Nirvana came & blew everything right the fuck up.
In the best (& most needed) way possible.THIS is how I choose to remember Madonna.
Not the ancient, surgery-ridden crypt keeper who’s almost 70, making me depressed & physically ill.

It’s like being reunited with a dead brother. Only… it turns out… HE WASNT DEAD!!!He (along with the rest of the clan) has been living under an assumed name in other people’s fridges.
I bought 12 of these boxes.
And no, that’s not a typo.It’s 1985.
And life has meaning again.
