Did you know? Not so long ago, gay bars used to have blacked-out windows or no windows at all. You didn't want to be seen going in, let alone sitting inside. When I was just an infant in 1972, Twin Peaks Tavern in San Francisco became what's believed to be the first gay bar in the country to open up its plate glass windows and just... let people see in.

Visibility has come a long way since then. 😘
