I'm almost at the end of Hyperion by Dan Simmons and I learned a new term that could replace "cyberpunk": cyberpuke! 😀
So far the Scholar's story was the most emotional and sad of them all.
The Poet's story was very well written and intriguing, even if I don't quite like the attitude of Martin Silenus when he interacts with other pilgrims.
The Detective's story is definitively the most "cyberpukish" one so far, I still have a few pages left on this story though.

Reggie and his colleagues were self-aware fictional characters in stories originally written by Dominic Howell. Ossen was an AI chatbot written by one of those characters, Reggie. Ossen now wanted to visit Dominic's world.
"How do you feel about that, Author?" Reggie asked.

"You also said Ossen built an interface for this?" Maggie asked.

Yesterday, I just quickly wanted to check out the Master of Orion game. The one that came out some years ago and is narrated by Worf. Suddenly it was 2 am. Damn
But I’m not sure if the series has ever gotten better than MoO2. I can see why they added the hyperlanes, since at one point a huge fleet of Death Stars was always setting course for your home planet.
I do think it kinda regressed in its style, since a lot of it feels more satirical and comical in comparison to MoO2.
