Hoe makkelijk kan vriendschap zijn en hoe kan dat verhullend werken over de politieke werkelijkheid die ook bestaat. Het persoonlijke is politiek, immers. Als je vriendengroep zich vormt in het interbellum in Oostenrijk en naast het observerende buitenbeentje bestaat uit fascisten, een homo, een Jood en een socialiste is dat natuurlijk helemaal het geval.
Actueel thema dus wel. Kun je vrienden blijven met mensen die steeds rechtser worden, steeds meer racistische standpunten vergoelijken?
Toch vind ik het al met al, net iets te geconstrueerd en aangezet.
