Wir haben uns inzwischen die ersten beiden Doppelfolgen von Inspector Ikmen angesehen und sind noch unschlüssig 🤔
Es ist natürlich weniger Deutsch als Mordkommission Istanbul, aber der zweite Teil jeder Doppelfolge vergisst regelmäßig, was im Teil davor geschehen ist. Da wird als große Entdeckung gefeiert, was der Kollege vorher eigentlich bereits allen ausführlich erklärt hatte.
Wenn das heute in den nächsten beiden Doppelfolgen auch wieder genauso läuft ...Und hoffentlich bekommt der Neue heute einen auf den Deckel. Der ermittelt eigenhändig und ohne, dass die anderen davon wissen. Bringt andere in Gefahr und macht einfach seinen Job nicht.

I really liked the Season 3 finale of #Silo. Not to mention the sneak peek at Season 4. Didn’t think anything could top last week’s episode, but damn did they ever. I also really liked how they took the time they needed to tell the stories, last week and today, instead of editing the episodes down to fit in the standard 43–50 minute network format. It made a huge difference to their impact.
I’m a little pissed the question wasn’t answered, though, ‘cause now they’re definitely going to spend all of the final season answering it AND I JUST WANT TO KNOW gah

Even though as an Empath personality type I despise the #SoapOpera medium for its notorious emotional immaturity and reliance on shallow-thrill-driven manipulation rather than live up to the depth of human emotion that it purports to explore, #StarTrekSNW found a good balance in today’s new episode, S4 E07, “Like Chronitons Through the Hourglass” between using it as a lens and winking at it. That’s not an easy balance to pull off without going full ironic tragedy. Every moment was hilarious and wistful, no matter how emotionally profound the scene. It would have been so easy to fall into an insincere-mockery, but they didn’t. They pulled it off.

The shift from #Sliders Season 3 to Season 4 when they changed networks is a lot more profound and jarring than I remember. I’m not sure I’ve even ever seen Seasons 4 and 5 before, TBH. So I’ll press on, take it as it is. Would be a shame not to, now that the show has finally reached the arc they’ve been teasing so long.
