Michael's desperate attempt to make everything into a test she has to pass in the mindscape of the library really strongly reminded me of Janeway in Sacred Ground (Voyager s3e7), where she basically kept demanding that it be a test of her because that's what she expected. Come to think of it, the female guide in that episode is somewhat similar to the archivist Hy'rell too, if a bit more motherly and with a much simpler dress. I loved Labyrinths, and I like Sacred Ground too, although it seems unfair to compare them given the difference in scope (and budget) of a single episode of the modern series vs. the 90's ones. #StarTrekDiscovery #StarTrekVoyager #StarTrek #Labyrinths
