I see the word as a psychological term. The word requires adjectives to imply less seemly narratives. Speaking of which, in the following #excerpt from Reluctant Courier (for the Mob) it isn't too difficult to deduce what interests Bolt, a day angel woman with wings, and her friend, Shugh.

My Dad knew the Night Gallery episode I watched the other day! I was telling him about it and he's like "is that the one where Roddy was saying "Portifoy" a lot and I was excited to confirm it was. We had never talked about Night Gallery before but I knew he was a Twilight Zone fan, he got ME into it as a kid, but we saw the entire series of Night Gallery at Wal-Mart and he was surprised to learn that I already owned it.

But then there were also so many perfect moments it seems pointless to single any out. Just drop everything and watch it. Even if you’ve never seen the show before, just drop everything and watch it.
As a minor postscript, I think it’s interesting that the writers chose that particular interpretation of quantum mechanics to describe entanglement. Not exactly a popular one anymore. Or a canonical approach to the multiverse problem. I wonder if it’s a setup too? Like the story can only unfold if that one specific interpretation is the correct one, which is itself an unpopular choice in the physics community these days?
