Aren’s professor helped get him a job as a bookkeeper for a ranch in Oestend. It seemed like a favor at the time, but maybe it wasn’t. Oestend is about as far from the university in the capital as you can get. And, it turns out wraiths are real. If you go out at night, or even leave a window open, they will get to you and kill you. Deacon is the ranch foreman, and he keeps it running with an iron fist, if necessary. Although sometimes put off by Deacon’s harsh treatment of the men, Aren is still drawn to the dark and powerful man. The two become friends, and Aren is saddened to learn that he’s Deacon’s only friend, since he’s the only one on the ranch who isn’t a hired hand or one of the owner’s family. Aren is the only one Deacon doesn’t have to be strong around.

Obligatory self-promotion for my latest book, “Good Dawg.”
It took too long for Kevin to figure out he needed to be with a man who knew how to take control. He's not the young twink he sees submissives depicted as in the kinky stories he reads. The Archangel #SciFi #MMRomance series by C.J. Dragon follows the adventures of Raphael, a child of the Mars colony, the main outpost for humanity since Earth is no longer habitable. He is also a powerful empath, so while he loves his extended family, he sometimes needs time alone to keep their thoughts from overwhelming him. That's easily accomplished by taking his small scout ship Agatha out to look for minerals in the asteroid belt. It's on one of these trips that he encounters a Chi'NoSa ship that accidentally damages Agatha. Lord Commander Teo of the ship orders Agatha and Raphael to be brought aboard. Teo has never met a human, is fascinated by Raphael, and wants to keep him around. Thus begins a series of adventures as the two men become lovers and attempt to bridge a vast cultural gulf between their two races.

Killian is riding high as the lead singer of the band Trickster, but things aren’t going so well behind the scenes. Killian’s brother Eliot, the band’s bass guitarist, is involved in an abusive relationship with Rob, the drummer. Rob’s drug addiction sends him off the rails and results in the crash of their tour bus, killing everyone in the band and the driver. Except Killian. The young man is left with serious emotional and physical scars. He decides to let his fans continue to think he’s dead while taking time away from his old life. Killian drifts from town to town, playing in small bars and nightclubs. It’s in one of these gigs that Killian meets Mike, a bass player estranged from his own family.

“Dublin Bay” by John Patrick is a complex #MMRomance.
James is a seventeen-year-old working-class Irish man just out of school and looking for his first job. He’s picking mussels from Dublin Bay one day to feed his family when he spots another young man his age on the dock. James is mesmerized by the blond youth, Otto, who also seems attracted to James. Otto is German, and he and his father are on the dock seeing off Otto’s mother. It’s 1939, and what will become World War II is just starting in earnest. Otto makes his father buy the mussels from James, and before he knows it, James and his sister Bella are employed by Otto’s father to take care of their home. Otto and James soon become more than friends and are committed to finding a way to be together. As if their relationship weren’t dangerous enough, the two young men do what they can to help refugees from Nazi Germany. It’s a course of action that could get the two killed.

"Davo" is a quirky #mmRomance between a big-city academic and a mechanic who likes to wear skirts set in the rough-and-tumble world of a #contemporary Australian mining camp by N.R. Walker
When academic researcher Fergus lands in a remote mining camp in the far reaches of Western Australia, he's expecting a change of scenery, but he's totally unprepared for the extreme conditions of the desert, as well as the quirky collection of permanent residents that call the town home. The biggest surprise of all is Davo. The muscular mechanical supervisor has a sunny disposition with a totally disarming smile, and likes to wear skirts. And, nobody bats an eye. Fergus is instantly attracted to the man, and the feeling is mutual. The two quickly form an intimate relationship, but both know there's a time limit on it, since Fergus is only there for a few weeks to interview people before flying back to Sydney.

Andon is unique among the corps of elite griffin riders. He wasn’t born to a noble house. Andon grew up on the streets and then spent most of his youth in the mountains, where he met and bonded with a wild griffin. Griffins and their riders mate for life, so when the pair are discovered, they’re both sent to the training academy and then posted to the frontier fort of Farfall. Neither are really accepted by the troops, who see Andon as beneath them and are suspicious of a wild-born griffin. Andon’s only friend is killed when he and his entire wing are attached by the viscous wiverns. Daren and his four wing members are sent from a neighboring fort to reinforce Farfall. Daren quickly becomes fascinated by Andon, and when he witnesses the bad treatment the weapons officer is subject to, he becomes protective.
