Two young men are thrown together on a space voyage full of mysteries in “The Darkness Outside Us” by Eliot Schrefer.
#SciFi #MMRomanceAmbrose wakes up on board his ship, and is told by the craft’s AI that he was injured during the launch and has been in a coma. He remembers all his training for this special mission to rescue his sister, who was sent to see if Saturn’s moon Titan could be colonized, but he doesn’t remember getting on board the ship or the accident that apparently injured him. There’s something else that’s concerning: Ambrose’s ship has been joined to another craft, that of his country’s primary competitor, and that ship is occupied by another spacefarer, Kodiak. The two young men must work together to unravel the mysteries and contradictions that seem to cloud their real mission.

"Dominus" is an epic series by J.P. Kenwood about forbidden #gay love between a Roman general in line to be emperor and an enslaved captured Dacian who isn't what he at first appears, set in the first-century Roman empire.
General Gaius Fabius returns to Rome in triumph from the Dacian wars but soon finds himself restless for a new challenge. Somewhat bored with his current stable of pleasure slaves, Gaius finds his challenge in the form of Allerix, a Dacian prisoner put up for auction. Gaius decides to make Allerix his new boy toy, but taming the young man may be more of a challenge than Gaius bargained for.

Today’s review is a book simply called “Mall” by Eric J. McConnell. #SciFi #MMRomance #GayBookReviews
Luke just went to the mall to get his phone fixed. While he’s waiting on the repair in the shop, the cold war era mall’s public address system announces there’s a nuclear attack and all the security gates roll down. Luke is trapped in the store with several other customers and a few employees. Someone thinks to suggest they get under the display tables for protection, which Luke does, along with a store employee named Jack. That’s when a big boom happens and several displays fall over. Luke and Jack are safe, along with others, but now they’re trapped in the mall. Luke and Jack set out to find the things they might need to survive for however long they’re in the sealed building.

Australian Damson O’Reilly fought in the Pacific during the closing months of World War II and was part of the occupational force keeping peace in Japan after surrender. With almost no family to go home to, Damson settled in France after leaving the army. Seeking a quieter place where he can write and paint, Damson goes to Italy. In Siena, he stumbles on an auction where an abandoned old farmhouse in the countryside is on the block, for the third time. Much to Damson’s surprise, his minimal bid wins. However, when Damson arrives at his new home, he finds a dead body in the front room. It’s the start of complicated #mystery and #MMRomance in “The Road to Montepulciano” by Garrick Jones.

Quick promo! One of my books is the Daily Deal on JMS Books today. Get Stowaway, a saucy M/M sci-fi romance novel for just 99c. That was my second published book, and I reckon Kit still counts as my lippiest character ever. He's a very cheeky boy indeed.

#WritingWonders Day 12. Do you think your story will make your readers cry at some point?
Had a shitty few days at work and not been up for posting.
#Denial is lighter in tone than #ScratchTheSurface. Not much chance of anyone crying, I don't think. There are tears from Justin, some gigglesnort moments of awkwardness, frustration and upset, but nothing heartbreaking.

#WritingWonders Day 19: What things in my story would I like to exist in this world?
Without doubt it would be wolfshifters - The ability to turn into an actual wolf. To run as a pack. To sense your wolf inside you and have heightened senses even while in human form. To have a pack you belong to, who will defend you to the end of the world.
The shifters don't appear much in #Denial as both MCs are human, but set it's the same world as #ScratchTheSurface

#WritingWonders Day 1:
2 truths and 1 lie about WIPI'm going to write about #Denial a lot this month as I'm trying to finish the first draft for #CampNaNoWriMo
I'm still discovering more about the characters and where the story is going, so I may also dip into #ScratchTheSurface for a few answers if the prompts fit better.#Denial
*Kink awakening
*Break up of MCs due to cheating
*MC wrongly accused of GBH -
#WritingWonders Day 30: How has your vision of your MC changed since you wrote the first page?
Not a huge amount. I started with Eerie in my mind before I really knew what the story would entail. He is both a little more scarred and a hell of a lot braver than I had first envisaged.
His reaction to certain situations came as a surprise to both of us. He can also be a bit of a smart-arse in the right circumstances, which I didn't see coming. -
#FridayKiss - Trace
He tried to cover his eyes with his hands, but Caz pressed them to his chest, giving him no room to move.
"Talk to me, kitten," he said softly, his honey eyes still soft from sleep and creased with concern.
Eerie gazed up at him and the words stuck fast in his throat. A tear slid from the corner of his eye and trailed wetly across his skin. Caz traced its path with the pad of his thumb, letting the silence draw out.
