Currently getting some writing done. It feels really good to be back at it again. After the manipulation and movement with my knee earlier, I think I'll steer clear of the pool today. It's sore and achy. I'm practically limping. Tomorrow is the first day of my bowling season too, and I'd rather be ready for it. I can go swimming and do my laps tomorrow in the afternoon, instead. A friend will be joining me, which is nice.
For today, we're going to write. 🖋️
Edit: We'll also be playing more Diablo III, of course. I'm on Act V. I can't wait to be finished again, and then I can carry over from Campaign Mode to Adventure Mode. That'll be so awesome.

#WritersCoffeeClub 9/8: International Literacy Day! Share a moment when a reading of your work surprised you.
I'll share a story of mine. It's one of my absolute favorite things I've ever written, and ironically, it's only fanfiction. It features an original character, another Van Helsing member of the family with Peter Cushing as the face-claim. Dracula, of course, will always be my dear Christopher Lee. Hammer Horror will *foever* have my entire heart.
Anyway, I'm *incredibly* proud of this story and the way it turned out. My vocabulary, sentence structure, the near-Victorian vibe from it all... I just *adore* this story. It doesn't take place in the Victorian or Edward period, of course, it's the 70s, but that gothic feeling is more than present. I just love this one so much. I was impressed with myself for once, and I was so proud of the final, finished product. I've turned it into an ongoing series for my readers.
The name of the story is "The Cycle Begins Again," and here's the quick synopsis.

Professor Clarence Booth has a rather unexpected visitor one afternoon and the course of his entire life will change because of it.
(This piece takes place directly after Dracula A.D. 1972 and The Satanic Rites of Dracula. Keep that in mind. The Author's Note is also very important.)
