Free Book Weekend
Alrighty, just to round out the trifecta of Greenland Diaries books being used in my free book promos, the third book in the series – The Greenland Diaries: Days 141 – 200 – is FREE today and tomorrow on the Kindle. Description below:

The following collections of journals were recovered from a caravan outside of Duluth, Minnesota. The exact date of recovery is not known nor is the origin of the speaker. The Bureau for the Restoration of History (BFRH) would like help in identifying the man who kept these records. This unedited record of events is still considered the most accurate history of the apocalypse that occurred on April 15th, 2011.
“They come for me at night. I will not outrun them. We can’t fight them every drum. They need to stop. They need to get away from me. I can’t keep fighting what I don’t see. When will it stop? There are faceless monsters in the night. There are faceless monsters in the day. People sewn together from dead parts like old clothes. I don’t understand it. Someone please help me.”

I've gotten some nutrients (pita with lemon hummus) in my chemical reactor, I'm almost done consuming a mental stimulant (...Pacific Punch Monster Energy), and I'm drowning myself in wonderous waves of sound (I'm obsessed with Rivers of Nihil's self-titled album that was just released). It's time to get some writing in! I might work on some art later. I really want to cook up a good cover for my first Dark Shadow book. I'm not expecting to be ready to publish it for a few years, but I want it to be superb.

I usually do some writing on my breaks at work, but with all my stress and tiredness I decided to just read some more Vampire Hunter D instead. I've read all of the books translated to English, and love how they get better with each one, as well as how they get crazier with the challenges D must face. It's a big inspiration to my own work, more specifically my current project, the series #DarkShadow. Unlike D who is god-like right off the bat though, my fiend hunter starts off in a more feeble state. I hope those who end up reading enjoy his transformation throughout my books. My novel Shadowed Memories (prt 2) gives a decent glimpse into his future.
