    at face value, and check all the provided sources skeptically. If it was found in the comments, a discussion thread, columns in random website no matter how professional it looks or attributed to what looks like a real person, or in minor unknown news sites, assume it is hearsay and opinion until corroborated. If the fact is based a study (or studies) not yet peer reviewed, it is not fact only an assertion. Read the data. Correlation is not causation. If the site is selling you something, especially if it has something to do with facts presented, those facts are untrustworthy.
