I wanted a picture of one of the terrifying woodland creatures I face to post a daily photo. 😉
A pine squirrel, who screamed until I raised my camera. It then froze in this position in the crook, a typical behavior.
It’s nice to see truly wild squirrels.

For half the hike it drizzled. If in the open, the breeze was frigid.
