Missoula prior to the smoke, the university’s stadium (right) at the entrance to Hellgate Canyon.
It’s the only university in the country that owns a mountain, Mt. Sentinel, from which I took this picture (at Glacial Lake Missoula high water mark).

Update #2: Got Harley out for some actual exercise - a 2 km walk around the neighbourhood including a visit to our community beach. Overcast today and humid, 23°C feeling like 28°C, and rain moving in this afternoon.
Lake is very calm - should have made time for a kayak trip across our sheltered bay. Maybe tomorrow. -
