That fateful dinner
They met at a restaurant neither one would have chosen. Both alone after the non-appearance of their respective dates, they got to talking.

Yeah.
I'll know where you'll sit. I'll know what you'll say. I could even tell you why.
Good ole Déjà Vu.
A few folks I've trusted enough to tell, think, "Hey, that's great! You get two lives for the price of one"—but they're wrong.

Inside, arranged like a nursery display: a child's wheelbarrow, alphabet blocks spelling HELENN, a plastic cow on its side. Half a grapefruit, rind blackened. CW:
Hello. Relatively new to the Fediverse. I'm Serious Moonlight across all instances thus far. Just taking Firefish for a little spin. Kicking the tires and whatnot. I have a thing for #bags, #slings, #backpacks as well as #headphones, #earphones, #earbuds, etc. Also love #books of all sorts and #reading of course. Recently interested in the #neolithic period. You read one academic paper on how bovine husbandry may have influenced the Celtic wheel of the year and you start getting all kinds of interesting stuff.

"Well, sir, there's a sub blocking our path."
"There is?"
"Yes sir. He really Austin Power'ed it."
"Is that some new maneuver?"
"You could say that...."
"What manual was that in?"
"It wasn't sir. It's from this historical documentary called Austin Powers."
"Jeffers!"
"Yes sir?"
"Set it up for next Monday's movie night. I want to learn more about this tactical genius, Austin Powers...."
"Sir!"
