Long ago, I had a conversation with an exceptional man who believes humans are basically stupid. He said the few smart one's job is to look out for the rest.
The pronouncement made me cringe. Even the sound of 'stupid' is #controversial.
I politely objected. "Misled, yes. Misguided, maybe. We're pure untapped potential," I said.
