#ScribesAndMakers 8/8: Polymorphous?
I could talk about the characters in my Patterners' World who change into dragons. They're not dragons naturally, it's a change they can make. The first time usually happens when they're under stress and it's not easy since it's unlike any other form of magic.
There's one character that can also manage a huge scaly wolf-like beast.
In the Damsel and the Mermaid (which is in the same world), the mer-folk don't change automatically into human form. But it's similar to the dragon changing, though the mermaid of the title has additional abilities in that regard.

And I've been quite enjoying this character. I don't often use the same character again, but she's part of a story that keeps intruding into my brain and that I might have to write at some point.
Her name is Yuko, she's very good at being a bodyguard/investigaor/badass for hire, and putting things away is something for people who aren't absolutely convinced they might need every single one of those items ANY MINUTE NOW.

i love little dioramas and vignettes, and i also spend too much time playing kart racing games, so around the time Kirby Air Riders was announced, the top ride mode inspired me to start this series of go kart track dioramas.
this first one features a figure-8 layout with a very realistic jump over the starting blocks, just like i remember from driving go-karts as a kid.
