CW: “Moon in the Day” review (no spoiler)
I finished #MoonInTheDay. If you haven’t watched it, a few warnings: first, it’s NOT a “light” drama; some episodes are particularly “bloody”. The story revolves around things like karma, fate, reincarnation, and curses, and it continually switches between the present day and the “ancient” period.
Apart from the OST song by Zia, which I love, the story is not really bad, and some episodes are even intriguing. But I admit that it’s not a #Kdrama for everyone!

I finally managed to fix my issues with Netflix subtitles on Apple TV! Ever since they moved to their unified player (which sucks) away from the Apple player, the subtitles are thin white text with no outline or background that are almost impossible to read when over light-coloured scenes, etc. 🤬

Sinon tant mieux si les scènes irréalistes d'un point de vue médical ne te dérangent pas trop !
Perso j'adore qu'on nous montre les organes et tout le déroulement d'une opération chirurgicale.Sinon je me pose également des questions sur la médecine traditionnelle coréenne. Acupuncture et toute sorte de toniques pour les maux de cou, l'énergie, etc.
Ça marche vraiment ?

CW: “Spooky in Love” personal opinion
After finishing #SpookyInLove, I can honestly say it matched my expectations! ❤️ I can agree with those who say the second half isn’t much “ghost” related. But the overall story is absolutely beautiful and pleasant. ☺️
I particularly appreciated Park Eun-Bin in this #Kdrama. She portrayed a character who is not only pretty (physically) but also very “good” in behavior and ideals, making her very different from other “chaebol” characters seen in other dramas.

Es geht um einen Betrugsversuch, der völlig in die Hose geht, und es hat alles, was eine gute Geschichte braucht: Spannung, Witz, Wärme, Bosheit, Güte, unerwartete Wendungen und einen Schuss Weisheit.Ich liebs.

@smilematou non, Descendants of The Sun n'est pas proprement une série médicale. Le protagoniste masculin est dans les forces spéciales de l'armée coréenne, tandis que la protagoniste féminine est chirurgienne.
Donc il y a des scènes médicales, mais également beaucoup d'action.
Je dirais 50/50. -

I need a quick pick-me-up of a genre that will have me giggling even though life is hard. Happy ending is a must. Action is fine. Romance, Found Family, and Great Friendships are highly desired.
What should I watch?

I am just loving "A Bona Fide Killer"
The cinematography & writing are top-notch. In eps 7, a character's resolve changes and in the scene, there is this subtle camera shake. I had to go back to see if my TV just glitched, but no, it's there.
Also, depicting a mental health issue with the deafening silence of a snowfall - just beautiful. Throughout there are subtle details and small lines, like "It's not even one bite." that tell you so much.
The FL, Kong Hyo Jin, is not one of my favorites, but she is perfect in this.
