My Dramaland Darlings!
I need a quick pick-me-up of a genre that will have me giggling even though life is hard. Happy ending is a must. Action is fine. Romance, Found Family, and Great Friendships are highly desired.
What should I watch?

@EllenInEdmonton I absolutely love the two female actors in the pictures: #HanGoEun and #ImJiEun
And they're interpreting their fierce mother role both splendidly.
That being said it's a #makjang that will end up having 120 episodes of 30 min each.
There's family drama, wealthy people (not truly chaebols in this one) and illegitimate children.
If you like all that, then it's a #kDrama for you. -

CW: “To My Beloved Thief” review
I finished #ToMyBelovedThief, and I liked it very much! This is not just a simple historical drama; it’s also a “fantasy” drama because there is a soul-swapping between the two protagonists. This trick made the story less trivial, more intriguing, and even added some nice suspenseful moments.
The ending is also pleasant, and the classic bad guy gets what he deserves. In conclusion, a beautiful #Kdrama I really appreciated for the story and various cute actresses!

I recently watched #RebornRookie and I did enjoy it a lot. If you're interested, it has similar vibes as The Art Of Negotiation (minus the excellent photography but with more comedy).
However, I will forever remember it for this particular #JungJaeSung 's facial expression 😆 .

Yesterday I started another #Kdrama because I know that Spooky In Love will not keep me busy all the weekdays (only Sat/Sun).
I chose #ToMyBelovedThief on #Viki. The first episode is nice, but a bit confusing with so many characters, and I still have to learn their relationships.
By the way, one of the OST songs in this drama is the beautiful “Stealing Love” sung by the super good Choi Eun Bin (최은빈).

I hit the wall in my #cDrama #jDrama , #kDrama and #twDrama viewing last week, and running a query on my database I found out why. Even allowing for a dozen or so shorts, it turns out I watched 66 Dramas in 3 months. No wonder I'm ready to slow down and get back to #Reading and rewatching favourite #Hindi #films Only two 10s in my Dramas so far, and one of them was not even from this century!

#twDrama #BreezeByTheSea is the first TW remake of a #kDrama I've seen. The first #kDrama remake of a #twDrama I'd already seen was #FatedToLoveYou and I love the #kDrama remake SO MUCH MORE than the TW original. Into ep 5/18 and this one is shaping up to be the other way round.
I dropped #TopStarYooBaek, picked it up more than a year later and found it better than I expected. But this remake is AWESOME - quieter, less frenzied and with much more low-key emotion. The total runtime is only ~50 minutes shorter, but the pacing feels sharper and more lively. Plus, the fact that the 2 leads have been leads together before clearly helps with their onscreen chemistry.
The other BIG difference is geography: one BIG difference - the #kDrama set on a remote Island, the #twDrama shot on Kinmen, an island in sight of the country that almost certainly will one day invade it, as the screenshot shows
