    Okay, finally, something marginally helpful with #Apple Intelligence writing tools in #iPadOS 27. Formerly, I turned Apple Intelligence off in 26 because it would often and distractingly complete (in shadow type) next words, finish sentences, and sometimes paragraphs with crazy crap it hallucinated. I don't want AI to replace me as a #writer. It's not writing for me even though Apple Intelligence gets automatically enabled in the update process (but maybe auto-complete remained turned off?). The blue underlines that do show up flagging realistic grammar oddities over 50% of the time, catching my typical typos without distracting me. I'm happy it catches in / if / is mistypings. So long as you don't mind the blue underlines, it's all totally optional. You don't need to take suggestions.

    I like the interface, all touch driven or mouse driven on my iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard trackpad. See the little video.

    BTW, I was writing a treatment in #Scrivener. The tool I'm demonstrating is thanks to the OS, not the editor.
