Staff pick:
The redesign of Harper’s Bazaar Italia by M/M (Paris) brings together three interesting #typefaces.➊ The modular Gran Bazaar is a custom all-caps display font conceived by Michael Amzalag and Mathias Augustyniak themselves.
➋ LL Schema is Alberto Malossi’s reworking of Permanent, a 1962 neo-grotesk by Karlgeorg Hoefer that saw wide use in Italian publishing. The digital interpretation was recently released with Lineto.
➌ AL Sigla by Alex Lescieux is a faithful revival of FTC Sigla, an Italian follower of Times New Roman by Umberto Fenocchio. It was made available in 2025.

Creepy no. 10 (1966)
Simply terrific composition, you can't fault Frazetta for laying out a scene, and the lighting and colours are all great too.
I would love a huge version of this on my wall.

Amazing Stories vol. 14, no. 10 1940 10 Ziff Davis (October 1940)
Did the robot just emerge from that … landing pod? … and immediately snatch up that poor woman? I don't know about the timeline here.
ED EARL REPP just has to be an anagram, right? The author's name is "Lee Draper"? Yes I have an anagram tool constantly in my bookmarks.
