Cost of living, fuel has Couche-Tard customers cutting back on snacks

Okay, now here's a weird #soda for today.

I've tried couple of these Fresh line of transparent soda can variants before, but this was the first one that I had absolutely no idea how it's going to taste.

It definitely doesn't taste like the foam candy shown on the can. Instead it reminds me of vanilla custard I used to have as a kid. Maybe it's the nostalgia kicks I got out of this talking, but I think it's one of the better offerings from the maker, AR.

American Soda is one of those companies that imports stuff outside Finland that isn't available here. At some point they went into producing sodas themselves and I already liked their mystery blue soda earlier.

So here's another from them: Strawberry lemonade.

I was expecting something like Jarritos' pretty strong strawberry taste, but the main taste here is lemon. Not bad but surprising for something where the strawberry was the main feature.

I may need to try out the rest of them, there's plenty now.

Not strictly a #soda but here's Ramlösa Körsbär.

Ramlösa is mineral water from Sweden, common in its home country, but also exists in neighbor countries.

This one has cherry flavor. Since there's no sugar, the cherry flavor is kinda weird. It starts with a strong taste of cherry, but then the sweet after taste is completely missing. It's not bad, I could easily see myself drinking a lot of this during hot days instead of just sugary soda.

Here's Mizu Matcha with Coconut from Vietnam.

It's not carbonated and I'd describe it as matcha OD. The taste of coconut is very subtle, while matcha has this really odd dry taste, almost like you were drinking flour.

I'm not much of matcha fan, but I was curious about this. And yeah, unfortunately it was pretty much what I had feared and isn't a thing for me. Meh.

Want an energy drink with a cool can, 300 mg of caffeine, and have it taste like a vaguely blue slushee flavored medicine?

Then you're in luck.

I'm a sucker for a cheap, gimmicky energy drink and G-Fuel's video game energy drinks fits the bill. Saw this at a Dollar Tree for a little over a buck, so I decided to try it out.

Yea. No. Not doing that again.

As I said above, vaguely tastes medicinal.

Meh.
