  2. While everyone is getting excited about #broligarchy models...
    ... lets spare a thought for the #China #Ai

I am using Zhipu AI's GLM-4.6 #GLM model in the harness (as "bigpickle") which is as good as #Anthropic #Sonnet for coding.

Its so good, that the router is actually feeding 27% (Top) of work units to #Bigpickle

  3. #Datacentres are a distraction by the #Broligarchy

While the luddites are getting excited by their "Victories" dancing around the bonefires with each Datacentre they move to a poorer, less organised neighbourhood, the broligarchy is whiteanting the very fabric of labor.

New juniors are not being employed.
Workflows are being rechanneled into Engines. Work is being taken away from the workers.

Forget the Datacentres, if you want to fight #Ai, unionise, form a united labor front.

THE WORKERS, UNITED, WILL NEVER BE DEAFEATED.

PPS: Ich bin echt kein Informatiker.

"The story of German scientific forestry transmits a timeless truth: When we simplify complex systems, we destroy them, and the devastating consequences sometimes aren’t obvious until it’s too late. …

Internet infrastructure is a degraded ecosystem, but it’s also a built environment, like a city. Its unpredictability makes it generative, worthwhile and deeply human. In 1961, #JaneJacobs, an American-Canadian activist and author of “The Death and Life of Great American Cities,” argued that mixed-use neighborhoods were safer, happier, more prosperous, and more livable than the sterile, highly controlling designs of urban planners like New York’s #RobertMoses."

"Technologists are great at incremental fixes, but to regenerate entire habitats, we need to learn from ecologists who take a whole-systems view. Ecologists also know how to keep going when others first ignore you and then say it’s too late, how to mobilize and work collectively, and how to build pockets of diversity and resilience that will outlast them, creating possibilities for an abundant future they can imagine but never control. We don’t need to repair the internet’s infrastructure. We need to rewild it."

  20. This is likely the most influential interview (30m) that you will hear in your life.
    Alex is a #physics and #neuroscientist professor.
As far from #woowoo as you can get...

He rationally critiques the ossified #materialistic #science and offers an opportunity for humans to expand its myopic and destructive obsession with a very narrow perspectives if the hard problem of #consciousness

He touches on #AI and the toxic ideology of #broligarchy , #transhumanism

  22. "And essentially they're capturing, they're just capturing everything, capturing democracy, spending, you know, Elon Musk spent over $200 million, almost $300 million, excuse me, to try to get Trump elected, spent over $20 million in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race."

  23. Check out (and subscribe) to @brianmerchant new article for a sneak preview of one of the milestones we can expect to pass on the slippery slope the @EUCommission has started us down when they calcualted that trading our rights and data to #BigTech in exchange for access to more of the #innovation they are afraid we're missing out on in the form of the most used & profitabe features of #AI which falls into social benefit categories like non-consensual pr0n, customized phishing scams, etc... Excited to hear more? Well spoilers are what you want, just keep your eyes on dystopian news and way of life in the #usa for more exciting "improvements" to our way of society, brought to you by the #broligarchy of #siliconvalley. But hey, now we'll get to have our email show up in #google search results soon, so that's something... 🤦‍♂️

  24. RE: mastodon.social/@TheBaron7/115

Have these COP's become ROBBERS of #GenZ and beyond? Are they just another meeting place for #oligarchs to cut more fossil fuels deals, and heaping more of the fallout on the increasingly oppressed?

These 'leaders' need to be replaced, immediately if not sooner.
