@cdarwin Take some time and read, "Careless People" by Sarah Wynn-Williams and this makes perfect sense. Completely fits with Zuckerberg's sociopathy and self-centeredness, not to mention surrounding himself with yes-men and women who fear him. Typical oligarch asshole, and what's wrong with the world.

That would be because for-profit corporations are inherently sociopathic. If 'love of money is the root of all evil,' what are corporations but love of money codified?

After going #shopping yesterday and spent almost $100 with a fraction in the #food I usually get, and did nearly the same at the farmers market today, we are going to have to seriously have to rethink our shopping and spending habits, all thanks to the #oilshock of the #Epstien - #IranianWar , especially since its only going to get worse from here on out, even if they open the #straitofHormuz tomorrow because all that #oil infrastructure needs to be replaced. People are referring to this as Trump's #greennewdeal , because people are shifting to renewables out of pure survival and not because it will save money and the right thing to do. Corporations are inherently sociopathic. Not coincidentally, sociopaths often end up leading them.
Sociopaths make up 1% of the population and 21% of CEOs. That should tell us something about corporations.
There is an excellent book and documentary called The Corporation by Joel Bakan about this. (I included it in my book, too.)
Capitalism, if not sociopathic itself, sure enables it.
