This is either #trump trying to assert power over #HakeemJeffries through #jaredkushner , which means Trump is scared and looking for concessions ahead of anticipated loss, hedging bets, OR this is blatant opportunism for both parties, both working against the will of the people and telling themselves it’s for the greater good, while it serves mostly them.
Either/any way, it would be a good marketing/voter move to install a more progressive house leader by midterms.
