  1. Rep. Al Green is about to force a floor vote on H. Res. 1486, an article of #impeachment over directing ICE/CPB abuses & murders. Please call your congressperson’s DC office to push for an aye vote. For congresspeople to not is to reject the oath of office, corrosive to the #DemocraticParty coalition & the country. #USPol congress.gov/bill/119th-congre

  2. Labor Day is almost here and the political sprint is on. Are we going to be ready?

Trump has an $850 million total war chest, anchored by $403.4 million in cash on hand. We can’t match the dollars but we will sprint to winning at a discount because of you,

  3. The suggestion that partisan #gerrymandering has nothing to do with race is fantastical. It ignores the defining role of #race & #racism in shaping partisan affiliation in the #US. For instance, the embrace of the #CivilRights movement by the national #DemocraticParty is, acc/to many historians, the main reason so many white Southerners became #Republicans in the second part of the 20th century, a phenomenon known as realignment.

  4. This part of Senator Chris Murphy’s interview isn’t getting enough attention. And it should be, because it’s so emblematic of the entire party’s posture toward the Republicans. Almost a year and a half into Trump’s second disastrous term, and he says they should have a conversation on how to stand up to Republicans. ARE YOU SERIOUS??? A CONVERSATION??? YOU NEED TO HAVE A CONVERSATION ABOUT HOW TO BE A...

  5. #Ohio senior #senator #BernieMoreno has introduced the #Exclusive #Citizenship Act of 2025, which could be very troublesome for #American dual citizens, from #FirstLadyMelaniaTrump and her son Barron all the way down to my own little girl. While at present the bill is still just in committee, many are hoping it doesn't go further. More on the bill and my own thoughts in the video.

  6. Rahm Emanuel needs to STFU. Say it with me… RAHM EMANUEL NEEDS TO STFU!! - Guy’s talking about running in 2028, uh-huh. Gotta nip that in the bud. Not what the party or the country needs right now. #politics #Democrats #DemocraticParty #PartyHack #RahmEmanuel

  7. "Until recently, the politically explosive nature of inflation had been forgotten in wealthy countries. It was often dismissed as a problem afflicting less mature democracies and developing countries. Yet inflation turned out to be the Achilles’ heel of what was otherwise a strong U.S. economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic—and it sank the Democrats’ bid to retain power in 2024. Donald Trump, the U.S. president-elect, triumphed in part because he signaled to voters that he understood their economic distress. For their part, the Democrats failed to acknowledge the depth of the crisis and shied away from fully embracing policies that could have relieved the pressure on ordinary Americans.

Still, the Democrats’ defeat was not inevitable. Other incumbent parties succeeded in winning elections in 2024 because they took steps beyond adjusting interest rates to tackle inflation and because they clearly communicated to their publics what they were doing to keep prices down. Governments in Mexico and Spain embraced bold measures, including price controls, subsidies, and both tax cuts and tax hikes. Not only did these actions help curb inflation, but they also spurred the ruling parties to victory and, in the case of Spain, helped stave off right-wing extremists. These cases show that in the fight against inflation, there are real alternatives to relying on monetary policy alone. Governments can step up and protect citizens against cost shocks in times of disasters, bolstering not only the economy but also the ruling party’s chances at the ballot box."
