Skirmishes occurred in July with Christmas' illegal occupation of the month challenged by Halloween as they pressed forward and expanded their Summerween into the month. Christmas, in retaliation, has begun pushing for decorations to be sold in September as well to try to prevent a continuous set of Halloween months becoming the norm.

As the skirmishes continue, it's unclear which holiday will occupy which month. It is feared that the two holidays will battle for control of the entire calendar soon, with other holidays fearing losing their unique season.

Thanksgiving, as usual, is silently sitting by.

A #historic ba’ has been sold at #auction in Edinburgh, with a winning bid of £3,810.

The trophy from the 1907 #Christmas Day #Youth’s Ba’ was won by #Uppie Pat #Gunn.
