Shampoo, soap, and hot water.
Laundry done and put away, bills paid, adulting tasks for the day are done, trash is out, and Hubby's coffee is ready to go when he gets up. He used to prep mine when I was working, so now I prep his. ❤️
Good to feel that there's order in my little corner of the world. Much remains on the to-do list, but I have less sense of being driven by what's left. There's breathing space. As my friend and I used to assure each other, "It gets done."

A flight over the Arctic, Chicago to Copenhagen. Waiting my turn for the loo, staring out the window at the ice floes and frigid ocean below.
Thinking, "Onto the ice. Into the drink. Onto the ice. Into the drink."
The ocean would be faster.

A very good Mom day. Stocked up her groceries, TP, trash bags, etc. Sprang a sugar-free Dr. Pepper coconut flavored soda on her, and she liked it. Trimmed her overgrown toenails. Gave her some refreshing sherbet as a reward for getting up early and not spending all day in bed.
Can't believe I just today thought to look for a USB C to 3.5 mm audio jack adapter for cell phone and tablet. Arriving tomorrow! 😃
Watermelon season is here! 🍉😋

Addendum for 5/15. This makes me very happy:
Our good auto mechanic shop called us. They have another customer who has a problem passing inspection for a vehicle registration renewal. He remembered about us and called for our help. I was delighted to tell about the particular waiver we apply for (there are about three kinds of waiver), and give them contact info for the nice lady at the state agency, with whom we've worked the last three years, for more help.
Hope they qualify! 🙏 -
Had a great, long catching-up chat with former boss, who recently retired.
Gave Hubby a much needed haircut. Me next, I hope tomorrow.
Got our monthly provision order in, trying not to melt down over prices. I'm stocking up on coffee, canned goods, trash bags, etc., and even without buying any meat, it adds up. No whining, though, as we're blessed to have resources to cover needs, for now.

Did some work on a doodle art page I hadn't touched in a couple of months.
Listened to some good podcasts.
No visit from Mom's toxic neighbor, of whom Mom has remarked, "She's so LOUD!" 😆
