I had told staff the VIHA signs they put up weren't clear enough & that we need everyone entering her room to be masked up. Their response was that Mom didn't meet the risk assessment for required masking. I responded with, the risk assessment chart is absolutely flawed if it's not requiring people to mask up around an extremely immune compromised liver cancer patient. You're health care workers. You should know that cancer patients need to be protected. You should not need to be told these basic proactive precautions, especially as fellow health care providers. Put your PPE/masks on.
