VIHA Risk Assessment chart for protective gear is another example of BC health's ongoing failcare. I had to ask for this additional handwritten sign to be put up to protect my Mom better in Jubilee Hospital. I had told staff the VIHA signs they put up weren't clear enough & that we need everyone entering her room to be masked up. Their response was that Mom didn't meet the risk assessment for required masking. I responded with, the risk assessment chart is absolutely flawed if it's not requiring people to mask up around an extremely immune compromised liver cancer patient. You're health care workers. You should know that cancer patients need to be protected. You should not need to be told these basic proactive precautions, especially as fellow health care providers. Put your PPE/masks on.

I'm wearing my mask, the contractor is wearing theirs, and 2 air purifiers are running (different rooms) while some repairs are being done inside our house.I know nothing is 100% safe but that doesn't mean taking precautions is useless!
