#COVID cases and emergency room visits in #NYC continue to rise, but cases are still lower than the March peak, and that was lower than last summer's low! And we're three and a half months without a #COVID19 death!

#Flu and #RSV cases are starting to rise as well, currently about 38 flu and 22 RSV cases citywide.

Hopefully the cool weather will bring people out of the air conditioning and stop the summer wave. #COVIDIsNotOver so I #WearAMask in pharmacies, doctors' offices and crowded trains!

meanwhile as ERs still close, and hospitals get 'whelmed' with respiratory diseases it's be kind and wash your hands

@confuseacat Ich halte diese Deine Wahrnehmung und Vorstellung für die aktuell dominante. Allerdings ist das nicht die Idee, deretwegen Parteien die in der Verfassung zugeschriebene Funktion haben. Die Mitwirkung an der politischen Willensbildung i.S. GG 21(1) meint Vereine, die durch die in ihnen und durch sie organisierten Deliberation wirken. Sie sind Informationsbeschaffungs- und -verarbeitungsvereine #IVV und nur in zweiter Linie Rekrutierungs- und Selektionsvereine #RSV. 1/x

#COVID cases and emergency room visits continue to rise in #NYC, but are still very low and rising very slowly. Still no #COVID19 deaths since the week ending May 2!

#Flu and #RSV cases are fluctuating in low ranges, currently about 29 flu cases and 12 RSV cases per day citywide.

#COVIDIsNotOver so I'm helping keep this summer wave low - I #WearAMask in pharmacies and doctors' offices, and in crowded trains and elevators. I mirror if someone wears a mask around me!

A small 2026 #RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) update. 11AUG2026 🦠Looks like a fairly standard timing to the RSV season. In the ~8 days since my last update (03AUG), detections have risen by 6,186. That's a daily rate of 773 per day, a decrease.
