Luxon's concern about the online manipulation of young people is yet another example of projection from the most easily manipulated Prime Minister this country has ever had.

A government led by the blue huers, that has lost credibility. Mackenzie District voters and especially those voters that are also rate payers, need to think hard when then tick a box on 7th November. My guessing it will lose its blue hue.

CW: Nzpol. Penk should have been backed
Penk should have rolled Luxon. The yes team behind our wimp of a pm ( lower case intended) don't have enough fortitude to stand up. Or more likely not keen on losing ( being sacked) of their extra ministerial salaries until they are voted out, come 7th November.
Penks words this morning to reporters aren't the gibberish we are used to by his boss.
I don't back anything National Party, but we could have suffered the next few months better with Penk answering to the nation without the gibberish.

It's shameful that this election is as close as it is.
A competent opposition would crow about how we had a world leading pandemic response, saved countless lives and eliminated the flu at the time. While the current lot are letting the health system collapse under the flu because all the funding has gone to landlords who don't need it anyway.

Instead of a pointless, ineffectual, easily-circumvented social media ban for minors that will expose everyone to intrusive personal data harvesting, how about doing something about the very potent drivers of teen anxiety and mental health issues? Maybe we should get serious about making our country a better place for the next generations to live in rather than a set of assets for a handful of billionaires to strip. #NZPol
